Andrea Elias apresenta "Quando crescer, eu quero ser..." na Itália. Foto de Karen Berestovoy (kabex.jimdo.com).A atriz e bailarina Andrea Elias, da companhia Teatro Xirê, chegará na próxima segunda-feira (31) à cidade de Atenas, na Grécia, para realizar mais uma das ações do projeto “Arte – Pedagogia – Política”. Lá, ela vai participar de encontros com grupos locais, com os quais pretende trocar experiências relacionadas à produção artística e aprofundar pesquisas de linguagem. Em seguida, passará alguns dias em Zakinthos, onde apresenta o espetáculo “Quando crescer, eu quero ser…” e, em parceria com Norberto Presta (coordenador do projeto), promove a oficina “Ecos: o corpo entre a dança e o teatro”.

O projeto está sendo viabilizado pela Bolsa de Residências em Artes Cênicas 2010. Criada pela Funarte, a Bolsa oferece a profissionais de teatro, dança e circo a oportunidade de participar de programas de intercâmbio e residência, no Brasil ou no exterior. Em 2010, 43 contemplados receberam prêmios de R$ 45 mil.

As ações previstas pelo “Arte – Pedagogia – Política” já foram realizadas em cidades da Espanha e da Itália, sempre em parceria com grupos artísticos de cada região. Em meados de fevereiro, as atividades acontecem também na Alemanha. A segunda etapa do projeto terá início em abril, quando artistas europeus virão ao Brasil para conhecer a companhia Teatro Xirê. International Workshop Echoes-The Body between Dance And Theatre/February 2011 Athens and Zakynthos

Registration is now open for the International Workshops Echoes- The Body between Dance and Theatre with Norberto Presta (Arg/Italy) and Andrea Elias(Brazil)
The workshops will take place from 01 to Feb 04, 2011 in Athens and for 06 to Feb 08 in Zakynthos.
The duration of the workshop in Athens is 4 hours per day.
In Zakynthos ,the duration is 3 hour per day

The workshop in Athens has a registration fee in the amount of $ 130.00 EUR if are made until the day 15/01/2011.After this date the registration fee will be $160.00 EUR.

The workshop in Zakynthos has a registration fee in the amount of $100.00 EUR if are made until 21/01/2011.After this date the registration fee will be $130.00 EUR.

To register the applicant must send an email to ambrosiatheatre@gmail.com with the subject REGISTRATION requesting the registration form.

Places are limited and your registration will be confirmed only after the reply to your email that will indicating the bank account to deposit the registration fee.after the deposit, the applicant must submit scanned proof to complete your registration and guarantee your place at the workshop.

Informations about time and place of the workshop will be emailed to the participants with confirmed entries.

About the workshop

The pedagogical course work seeks to contamination and feedback between principles of Dance and Theatre.Participants are encouraged to develop creatively shifting between the two disciplines,choosing and composing its scenic moments until the creation of a common material for all participants.The idea of composition is understood here as the structure of a material(movement and text) that should remain open to dialogue with impulses in the body atevery instant in which the composition is re-created/revived.Thus the actors-dancers are invited to keep their stuff in creative dialogue with three balls worked as a technical principles: the body itself, the other theatrical elements(including colleagues from the scene) and space(including audience). In this workshop with the voice work is well developed technically and creatively,both for actor and for dancers. It is understood here that the voice is part of the body and responds to their impulses, can also instigate them. the technical and creative developments are promoted as echoes and reverb of each other. Technically develops a training as part of a creative process which treats the muscle memory of the performer in order to discover the body in state scenic.
Each participant must have memorized a text of fifteen lines studied for this workshop. No lyrics,no poems.

Workshop Street Theatre The Meeting cancelled

WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM THAT UNTILL NOW, THE EMAIL FROM AMBROSIA THEATRE DIDN´T RECEIVE ANY REGISTRATION FOR THE WORKSHOP 'STREET THEATRE-THE MEETING".
FOR THIS REASON THE WORKSHOP CANNOT HAPPEN EVEN IF SOMEBODY PRETENDS TO GO TO THE SQUARE TOMORROW IN THE MORNING CAUSE THE PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING SOME MATERIAL OF WORK WITH THEM.
