Ambrosia Hybrid Lab for Theatrical and Expressive Research

Dear friends,


Ambrosia Theatre, cultural organization based in Zakynthos,created by Lis Nobre, invites all interested in research and practice in performing arts to the Restart of its activities from the day 27.09.2011.

The activities are part of creating a hybrid lab for theatrical and expressive research and will be divided in the following courses and days:


Tuesdays and Thursdays (continued classes)

1) Pre-expressivity and Scenic Presence for actors, dancers and performers


2 ) Energy in Action - Pre-expressivity and Expressivity for everybody interested.(for non-actor, dancers or performers)


3) Theatre and Contemporary Circus techniques in open and unconventional spaces (Street Theatre)

4) Is Clown or Never! Introduction to the Clown mask and Techniques

5) Brazil_ Its history and rythms through the dance.


6) Aerial Acrobacy - Introduction to the aerial techniques in tissue and fixed trapeze.(this class will happen 2ª,4ª,6ª and is taking place in Olympiada Gym School)

BASIC INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE PROJECT" SCENIC BRIDGES BRAZIL - GREECE" IN ZAKYNTHOS

DEAR FRIENDS,

HERE ARE SOME INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE INTERCHANGE PROJECT "SCENIC BRIDGES BRAZIL-GREECE" THAT WILL STARTS THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 17TH, 2011 IN AVRIAKOS GARDEN THEATRE AND IN DOWNTOWN ZAKYNTHOS,EXACTLY IN SAN MARCO SQUARE.ONE PARTY IS PROGRAMMED TO HAPPENS IN SAN MARCO CAFE BAR.


AVRIAKOS GARDEN THEATRE IS THE BASELAND OF THE GROUP THEATRO THS ZAKYTHO, ONE THE MOST TRADITIONAL THEATRE GROUPS IN THE ISLAND, AND ONE OF THE FEW THAT HAS CONTINUED AND ACTIVE REPERTOIRE.

THE PLACE IS LOCATED BETWEEN BANATO AND GAITANI AREA,10 MINUTES FROM THE CITY OF ZAKYNTHOS.

THE ACTIVITIES OF THE PROGRAMME THAT WILL HAPPEN IN AVRIAKOS ARE THESE BELOW

DIALOGUE AND EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS - FREE ENTRANCE

THE OTHER PERFORMANCES WILL TAKE PLACE IN SAN MARCO SQUARE AND OPEN FOR HAT CONTRIBUTION.

THE PARTY IS OPEN FOR ALL INTERESTED IN GOOD BRAZILIAN VIBES OFFERED BY DJ FROG IN SAN MARCO CAFE BAR, LOCATED IN SAN MARCO SQUARE.
