International Workshop Echoes-The Body between Dance And Theatre/February 2011 Athens and Zakynthos
Registration is now open for the International Workshops Echoes- The Body between Dance and Theatre with Norberto Presta (Arg/Italy) and Andrea Elias(Brazil)
The workshops will take place from 01 to Feb 04, 2011 in Athens and for 06 to Feb 08 in Zakynthos.
The duration of the workshop in Athens is 4 hours per day.
In Zakynthos ,the duration is 3 hour per day
The workshop in Athens has a registration fee in the amount of $ 130.00 EUR if are made until the day 15/01/2011.After this date the registration fee will be $160.00 EUR.
The workshop in Zakynthos has a registration fee in the amount of $100.00 EUR if are made until 21/01/2011.After this date the registration fee will be $130.00 EUR.
To register the applicant must send an email to ambrosiatheatre@gmail.com with the subject REGISTRATION requesting the registration form.
Places are limited and your registration will be confirmed only after the reply to your email that will indicating the bank account to deposit the registration fee.after the deposit, the applicant must submit scanned proof to complete your registration and guarantee your place at the workshop.
Informations about time and place of the workshop will be emailed to the participants with confirmed entries.
About the workshop
The pedagogical course work seeks to contamination and feedback between principles of Dance and Theatre.Participants are encouraged to develop creatively shifting between the two disciplines,choosing and composing its scenic moments until the creation of a common material for all participants.The idea of composition is understood here as the structure of a material(movement and text) that should remain open to dialogue with impulses in the body atevery instant in which the composition is re-created/revived.Thus the actors-dancers are invited to keep their stuff in creative dialogue with three balls worked as a technical principles: the body itself, the other theatrical elements(including colleagues from the scene) and space(including audience). In this workshop with the voice work is well developed technically and creatively,both for actor and for dancers. It is understood here that the voice is part of the body and responds to their impulses, can also instigate them. the technical and creative developments are promoted as echoes and reverb of each other. Technically develops a training as part of a creative process which treats the muscle memory of the performer in order to discover the body in state scenic.
Each participant must have memorized a text of fifteen lines studied for this workshop. No lyrics,no poems.

Workshop Street Theatre The Meeting cancelled
WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM THAT UNTILL NOW, THE EMAIL FROM AMBROSIA THEATRE DIDN´T RECEIVE ANY REGISTRATION FOR THE WORKSHOP 'STREET THEATRE-THE MEETING".
FOR THIS REASON THE WORKSHOP CANNOT HAPPEN EVEN IF SOMEBODY PRETENDS TO GO TO THE SQUARE TOMORROW IN THE MORNING CAUSE THE PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING SOME MATERIAL OF WORK WITH THEM.
WE WILL KEEP FORWARD FOR THE NEXT TIME.

WORKSHOP "STREET THEATRE-THE MEETING" REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Registration is now open for the workshop "Street Theatre- The Meeting".To all those interested in having an approach or just to experience with especific techniques and processes for scenic creation in open spaces.
Musicality,improvisations with the body and objects, space,rhythm and archicteture scene,solos and groups will be worked in an unusual way and transversal.
The inscriptions are free and must be carried out until the day 28/10/10 by email with the subject "street theatre workshop" and shall contain a summary of the candidate´s biography and a text of at most eight lines, explaining why you want to participate.Places are limited.email for ambrosiatheatre@gmail.com
The workshop will be conducted in English.
After,those selected will be notified by an email explaining the procedures and requirements, as well as the time and meeting place.
The workshop will be coordinated by Lis Nobre (Ambrosia Theatre/Brazil) and is provided free during the event RUE LIBRE/MERA DROMOU for the first time in Zakynthos.
At the end of the work the creative material will be organized in a "transition"- a concept of work created by the italian theatre director Claudio La Camera to mean the stage from the show ready and beginning of the creative process.
The workshop will happen 30.10.2010 from 09:30-12:00am

VITA INTENSA DURING RUE LIBRE MERA DROMOU LOCAL ACTION
For the first time in Zakynthos,the most international show of the island: VITA INTENSA! with Lis Nobre(Brazil).A clown solo for children from 0-200 years old.
This performance is part of the initiative of Lis Nobre to support and celebrate the international event http://www.ruelibre.net/ -for rights of the street art and the free expression on public spaces that will happen on October 30th in many countries. In Athens http://www.meradromou.blogspot.com/

AUGUST, 11, 2010-Lis Nobre was in Italy invited for the compagniadeimerlibianchi.it to participate of a one week of artistical exchange and to play her clown solo VITA INTENSA!during the program of Festival Internazionale del Teatro Comico www.prolocosantomero.it . Nanika was there representing the women comic power in one festival full of comic actors!
September 2nd,2010- Lis Nobre had starring the first version for street theatre of her new solo show TIRAMISÙ- A sweety and sweaty woman show.The show,one mix of comic styles,from the stand up comedy to the clown and circus techniches, tell us about the journey of a woman through the fragility and sensibility of the clown state.Making company and painting the scene with live music are the greek musicians Thanasis Spinos(guittar) and Nikos Xenos (piano).
The show was organized by Ambrosia Theatre on Solomou Square in Zakynthos. The audience show us that enjoyed and hat from this day agree.
September 19,2010. We play TIRAMISU for the second time in Zakynthos during the event Pan Zakinthian. So many problems that is better no comments about the show, this time in one stage high and far from the holy audience and problems with the wireless microphone.Many people like.for us was not the best day.Ok, that´s what clown and roll is all about!
OBS:The best was to have on the audience friends from Brazil as Angela Mourão from www.teatroandante.com.br

October 9 from nowadays- Lis Nobre is in Zakynthos, offering class from Aerial Acrobacy and Pré -Expressivity. On the timetable is previwed some seminars as clown, scenical presence,street theatre and many others with groups abroad.

Summer Activities Ambrosia Theatre in Zante starts with Aerial Acrobacy Class
The class will offer the possibility to discover the pleasure and adventure of your body in the air,through the basic aerial acrobacy equipment: trapeze and aerial silk.
Concepts as warming up,cooling down,tonus,gravity, balance,movement,streching and impulse will be worked in the practical way. The aerial acrobacy is part of the Circus Art.It is one of the most beautiful and plastic techniques of that, for the amazing possibility that offers to create images in the air.If you wanna feel as "walking on the clouds" and "open your wings" come to participate of this unforgetable experience!

During my visit in Manaus with Ambrosia Theatre i had the beautiful opportunity to share experiences through teaching Clown, Aerial Acrobacy, Anthropological Theatre and Street Theatre. One moment that i will never forget was after that ends the conversation, everybody starts to sing and to play with colorfull fabrics, playing drums. The music was one old samba of Geraldo Blota and Joseval Peixoto(1952)that calls Oi nóis aqui travêis and if you can understand brazilian portuguese, enjoy it:

Welcome!This is the Ambrosia Theatre´s blogspace .
One new opportunity that we found to share experiences with and about theatre´s life, profession and passion;one space to share and exchange ideas about the peformances arts and survival experiences through them.
Teatro Ambrosia is a group experience that started on 2009 when Lis Nobre, brazilian performer,just moved to Greece, or better to Zakynthos, ionian island met Efi Anyfanti, greek artist during the rehearsals of the group Helix Street Theatre, in Athens.
After three months of human and artistical exchanges in Zakynthos, they created one version of The Birds of Aristophanes for Clown and Open Space, two languages that the group wants to explore and to research.
This experience was showed for the first time abroad recently: in Brazil! On May,201o they were part of the program of the 5ª Interplanetary Clown´s Week, a clown meeting happened in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, southeast of Brasil.This meeting is organized by the Coletivo de Palhaços(Clown´s colective) www.coletivodepalhacos.com and is a beautiful opportunity to meet and exchange with clown and comediens from all over the world!Back in Greece, now they just plan the news steps for one theatrical meeting,this time in Zakynthos.
The aims of Ambrosia Theatre is to develop the artistical dialogue and exchange between Greece-Brasil and other countries from Europe and Latin America.Also to develop complementarities and sinergies between cultural actors and initiatives in the region.
The group is abble also to provide technical assistance also to the public authorities to formulate inclusive cultural policies and to develop a legal and regulatory framework for the cultural sector, special the street and non-convention space performances in Greece.
We also aim to organize cultural policy of exchange,seminars and workshops.
Our baseland is Athens and Zakynthos Island.And our personal network is in connection with all over the world.
The arts is an opportunity to leave the humanity to experience the best side of the human potencials.Theatre is the spirit food, as the Ambrosia was for the godess!
